A+ Certification: The Career Center will pay half-price for each exam if you pass it and take it before school ends.

FBI Warns of Internet disruption.  The FBI is encouraging users to visit a website run by its security partner www.dcwg.org to fix a potential virus infection. After July 9th infected computers won't be able to access the web.

Computer Information Technology Program

Welcome to the Computer Technology Program website.  This website is intended as a resource for students and parents.

Students in the program have access to resources to help them in their study of information technology courses.

Program Certifications

This program prepares students for the CompTIA A+ certification as well as Microsoft Certifications. 

CompTIA A+ Certification shows a basic competency for a computer technician.

The baseline certification for Microsoft will be the MTA (Microsoft Technology Associate) which covers basics in networking, security and server administration.

Students will go on to prepare for the MCITP in Windows Desktop Support and Windows Server Administration.

May 21: Seniors to  take NOCTI test for computer networking fundamentals.

May 22 - Juniors Security Fundamentals. Chapter 3 test.

May 22 - Stephen present Capstone during period 8 for Mrs. Larocque's class.

May 24 - Nick present Capstone during period 7 Mrs. Danho and period 8 for Mrs. Larocque's class.

May 24-Jun 4: Senior Exams

May 25: Competition for Module 3

Friday, Jun 1 - Senior Exam - This will cover A+ Chpts 20, 21, 22, and 27. Network Fundaments Chs 4, 5, 6, and 7. Security Fundamentals Chpts 1, 2 and 3.

Jun 7 - Graduation

Jun 19 - Grades close for underclassmen.
