Google Code-In The Google Code-in is a contest to introduce pre-university students (ages 13-17) to the many kinds of contributions that make open source software development possible. The Google Code-in 2013 contest runs from November 18, 2013 to January 6, 2014.

Welcome to the Computer Technology and Game Design Program website. This website is intended as a resource for students and parents.
Students in the program have access to resources to help them in their study of information technology courses.
One aspect of the program prepares students for Microsoft Certifications in Windows Desktop Support and Windows Server 2012 Administration.
The other piece of this program prepares students for the Oracle Java certification. This is done through game development. Student create animation and games through different IDEs (Integrated Development Environments).
GRRL Tech (GRRL Tech website) will take place this year March 13 at URI in Kingston. They are being very strict this year allowing only 20 students per school, in the 10th and 11th grades to attend. In the past they have allowed us to sign up 20 students from the Regional Career & Technical Center @ CHS and also another 20 from CHS.
They will also be offering multiple $4,000 scholarships again for those students who submit an essay on a topic to be announced soon.
